Nothing is more constant than our environment. It is a living testimony that more generations will be born and use the same land we used to live with. To deal with constant things, you need to be consistent. Consistency of being great servant and steward of our environment will help us preserve and conserve this land we're living in.

November is Environmental Awareness Month by virtue of Republic Act No. 9512 signed on Dec. 12, 2008.The law says the promotion of national awareness on the role of natural resources in economic growth and the importance of environmental conservation shall be done through environmental education.

Environmentalism is an ideology that evokes the necessity and responsibility of humans to respect, protect, and preserve the natural world from its anthropogenic (caused by humans) afflictions.
Environmental awareness is an integral part of the movement’s success. By teaching our friends and family that the physical environment is fragile and indispensable we can begin fixing the problems that threaten it.

Making Difference Through Values

Image result for values month celebration insightValues is being defined by the group Ethics Unwrapped as individual beliefs that motivate people to act one way or another. They serve as a guide for human behavior. Generally, people are predisposed to adopt the values that they are raised with. People also tend to believe that those values are right because they are of their particular culture.

We Filipinos, are really unique for our different cultures and traditions that molds us not only to be as one country but as a person. We are known for our respectful manner. We show obedience through saying "Po" and "Opo", and in addition we also convey it through giving a bow or commonly termed as "Pagmamano". Having this trait as a Filipino gives us the most important difference among the other races out there.

The celebration of Filipino Values Month in November, pursuant to Proclamation No. 479 issued on October 7, 1994, is an effective measure to create moral awakening and national consciousness on unique, positive, and genuine values held important by the Filipino people in their daily lives.

Values that nations and individuals hold sacred distinguish them from others. Interaction with peoples of various cultures helps them develop a strong work ethic. With these values guiding them, Filipinos are able to cope with the challenges of life.
